Brandon Groce / 11 y.o.

"Brandon was an extremely shy child before he attended the Evolve Academy. Brandon has learned that through practice and dedication, he can improve himself in all areas of life. Brandon has improved not only his Ju-Jitsu – Thai Boxing, he has developed a self confidence that has improved his school performance and relationships with his peers. I am extremely happy with the program and the positive influence of Mike Moses." - David Groce

 Bridgette and Cody / 8 and 5 y.o.

"We are honored to be part of the Evolve Academy family. The school’s positive learning environment is not only structured with principles such as self-discipline, mutual respect and integrity but is friendly and family-oriented. Our 8 year old daughter, Brigitte, started training at the Evolve Academy approximately 3 ½ years ago. A year ago, our 5 year old son, Cody, started training also. Both have become more focused, motivated and self-confident. We are fortunate that our family has found such a great program led by the extraordinarily talented and highly principled Master Moses." - Tim & Laura Murrer

Maria Navarro / 14 y.o.

"When I first started training at Evolve, I have to admit I was a little worried. I didn’t know what Evolve would bring me and, mostly, how the other kids would treat me. The more I came to Evolve, I discovered more and more how polite and welcoming the environment was. I found myself feeling more at home.

I found myself falling in love with Evolve not only because of the great people around me, but for helping me excel physically and mentally as well. Running had always been my weak point. Because of Evolve, my running excelled so well, I decided to join the track team, which is something I never thought I could do.

Also, my self-esteem has evolved as well. I used to always worry about what other people said or thought about me. Training at Evolve has taught me that in order for others to respect you, you must respect yourself first. Also, if you can’t respect yourself, how can you respect others?

Being a part of Evolve is like being a part of one big family. Like a true family, everyone always supports one another and helps each other in anyway. To have a family filled with so many great and supportive people has made a huge difference in me as a sister, a friend, and a student. I truly believe joining Evolve was one of the best choices I could ever make."

Brandon / 6 y.o.

"In just under a year, Brendan has made such a huge improvement. He is one of the youngest and smallest students but he has learned to focus, has become stronger and his confidence and determination have skyrocketed. The instructors push him and the other students to be the best they can be, not only in martial arts but as people. Brendan can’t wait to come to class and hates when it is time to leave." - Michael Parent

Brandon Duncan / 7 y.o.

"Since Brandon has been training through Evolve Academy, I have seen a marked improvement in his attitude towards others.  He will go out of his way to make sure that people are being treated the way they should be. He will stand up for people even if he doesn't know them.  He is a lot more caring about others feelings and the effect that his words and actions may have on them.  Since his evolvement with Mike Moses and the Evolve Academy, Brandon has won two character awards at his school.  This is an award that the students have to be nominated for by their teachers and peers.

Brandon has always been a confident little boy.  He has always known that he is not limited in life and being in this program and winning tournaments has really given him insight into what he could become and the drive to achieve it.

Our children live in a world were physical activity is not made to be a priority.  They have susper-sized meals and game boys, playstations and the game cubes. These activities are both solitary and sedentary.  Activities that actually require kids to use their bodies as well as their minds should be encouraged.  We live in a nation of overweight children who grow up to be overweight adults, programs like  Evolve's are a Godsend." - Michelle Duncan

Sean Sweeney / 13 y.o.

"My son Sean enrolled in summer camp for just a week and in that short time he was hooked. What he has learned in the past year goes way beyond jiu-jitsu. He now has a quiet confidence and increased self esteem. He is surrounded by positive male role models who guide him on his journey toward adulthood. Master Mike leads the school with a dedicated and firm hand that changes the lives in countless positive ways of all who enter the Evolve doors." - Caroline Sweeney

Dalia Rios / 10 y.o.

"Evolve Martial Arts Academy has the best instructors! Although their instruction is amazing, what I like best is the way they make you feel that you’re part of the group. I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Thai Boxing. Mike Moses is a great instructor and a great friend. He gives good advice and a lot of motivation to help you succeed as a person and to accomplish your goals.

When I brought my daughter to class, she found it fun and asked me if she can train as well. Mike Moses is the head instructor of the kids program. He is the best kids instructor I have ever met. She teaches good discipline and respect and she is very motivating. I can see that Dalia is learning, not only important self defense techniques while having fun, but to be a great self confident person. She is only 9 years old and she says that being part of Evolve is being part of one big family. She really likes training with her new friends and loves being part of the Black Belt Club." - Brian Rios

Stephen Kopsidas / 7 y.o.

"Our son Stephen has gained so much confidence, ability, and strength from training at Evolve Academy. We have established his training as a mainstay in his life that he will continue into adulthood, because as his parents, we feel that our biggest responsibility toward our son is to ensure that he knows how to defend himself and never becomes a victim." - Cheryl & John Kopsidas
