Welcome to the EVOLVE Martial Arts Academy’s Kids’ Program. We call our program unique because we not only teach the basic character-building traits like discipline, respect and confidence; but we also teach real self-defense skills. In today’s world, these are important skills for every child to have. We promote non-violent resolutions to conflict.

Most Martial Arts schools teach either a stand-up program or ground techniques; it is very rare that students are taught both. Our students begin their training with a strong foundation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). BJJ is the fastest growing Martial Art in the US today. It focuses on ground-fighting techniques and uses basic principles of leverage which enable smaller practitioners to defeat and escape from bigger opponents.

Our young students also study Thai Boxing, or Muay Thai. This art, which originated in Thailand, has been practiced for more than a thousand years, but is constantly evolving to address modern opponents. Thai Boxing focuses on basic strikes such as punches, kicks, elbows and knees.

The combination of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Thai Boxing makes ours one of the most effective Young Adult Programs in the country. And more importantly, our classes, are Good, Clean Fun!
